Completed in 2025, this single-level home in Marshland was designed to make the most of its compact site while providing comfortable, practical spaces for everyday living. The project involved careful design and construction of a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with an open-plan living area, generous outdoor entertaining spaces, and a carefully considered material palette that balances durability with contemporary design.
The home is built on a concrete slab foundation and features a simple gabled roof form clad in long-run steel roofing. A combination of plaster cladding and vertical oblique feature cladding has been used externally, creating a clean, modern appearance while keeping maintenance requirements low.
Inside, the focus was on creating a bright and functional living environment. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area forms the heart of the home, with large sliding doors providing a strong connection to the outdoor decking and landscaped grounds. A walk-in pantry provides additional storage, while the central kitchen island creates a practical workspace and gathering point for family life.
The interior finishes combine light timber-look flooring, custom cabinetry, feature timber wall detailing, and tiled bathrooms with brushed brass fixtures. Careful attention was given to natural light, ventilation, and indoor-outdoor flow throughout the design.
Externally, the project included all associated siteworks, hard landscaping, timber decking, fencing, driveways, pathways, and planting, delivering a complete turnkey home ready for occupation.
