This project is under construction and is being shared as an early look at a current architectural new build by Wrightway Construction.
As work progresses, some details and material selections may continue to be refined as the design is resolved on site.
Architectural Approach
The design is shaped by the site itself. Rather than sitting as one large form, the home steps down with the natural slope of the land. This approach helps the building sit comfortably within its surroundings and keeps the overall scale balanced.
Cantilevered areas are a key feature of the design, with parts of the upper level extending beyond the footprint below. These elements reduce the visual bulk at ground level, create sheltered outdoor areas, and allow the home to take better advantage of views, without feeling heavy or overbearing.
Inside, the layout focuses on light, flow, and everyday practicality. Living spaces are arranged to connect easily with the outdoors, using large openings to frame views and encourage movement between inside and outside spaces. This allows the home to adapt well to different seasons and ways of living.
The material palette is intentionally simple and restrained. This allows the structure, proportions, and detailing to take priority, resulting in a home that feels calm, well-resolved, and comfortable to live in.
If you’re considering an architectural new build and would like to understand our approach to site-responsive design and construction, we’re always happy to have a conversation.
